The other day, I bought Austin some flash cards with some beginning words on them. I decided instead of us staring at each other while Austin eats lunch, why not do something productive. I pulled out those flash cards and it seemed like he was into it.

Later while I was doing dishes in the evening and Devin was home, I had Devin do some flash cards with Austin and Austin picked up on the word apple.

Just he way he says it is so sweet. He puts a strong emphasis on the a. (aaaapple)

I am simply amazed at how many words Austin knows. He's getting so big and so smart that it's hard to believe preschool is only two years away.
