Appointments are so tough

Today Austin had is 15 month well child check up. He now weighs 24 pounds and 10 ounces. He is 31.5 inches tall, and his head circumference is 48.3 com. He is still in the 75th percentile in everything. So he's going to stay tall. He is a little taller than kids his age.

Austin was very good. Before the doctor came in I was holding Austin and he decided he wanted Grandma so he went over to see grandma. Grandma had him so relaxed that he fell asleep! He slept through the whole time the doctor was there. He didn't wake up when the doctor was checking his heart and ears. He didn't wake up until the nurse woke him up to give him his shots. It wasn't the normal nurse he has that gives him the shots and needless to say my mom and I didn't like her at all. But anyways, Austin was comfortably in grandma's arms and she wanted Austin on the exam table. So, I put Austin on the exam table. Austin whined a little bit but he went back to sleep. Austin's legs were curled up and the nurse straightened his legs and held him down and gave him 2 shots. Austin lost it by this point because he was so tired and just wanted to sleep. He only cried for a little while which was good.

Overall, Austin did great at his appointment. All is good and he is healthy and right on track where he needs to be.
